Thanks to God, this week I'm visiting the second last province of Africa - Madagascar Region, ANGOLA! A place of early Portoghese evangelization in the 15th century, country of many martyrs,country of many Saints. Also from 1981 a country with many Salesians who brought the Charism of Don Bosco during the civil war to this place!

After the succesful celebrations of the 2010 Salesian Mission Day focused on the Gypsie-Rom Salesian commitment in Europe, I became aware about this date.

Ten millions of our brothers and sisters around Europe and some more millions in Asia and America deserve more than ONE special day.

I remember especially our Salesian communities in some European countries which are completely commmitted to this ministry

Hungary - Kazincbarcika (Schools, Vocation training center, Parish, Youth Center, Boarding houses)

Bulgary - Stara Zagora and Kazanlak (Lozenec) with youth center and starting parish

Slovakia - Kosice, Lunik IX, Bardejov and many other

Czech Republic - Ostrava, Ceske Budejovice, Teplice youth centers.

and many more in Albania, Spain and other places...

Three full days in Andalusia, Espana - Sanlucar, Centro de espiritualidad salesiana juvenil (Province of SSE - Sevilla). Wonderful time with a lot of rain, few hours of strong sunshine and with 15+ enthusiastic Salesians and Lay Mission Partners from 8 Don Bosco Network organizations.
