Lectio Divina - Ciclo B. Ascensión (Mc 16,15-20)

Este final del evangelio de Marcos es un compendio de motivos de diversa procedencia. El párrafo elegido insiste en la responsabilidad misionera de los creyentes: tal fue la postrema orden, el testamento, de Jesús Resucitado antes de su desaparición. Recordarlo hoy, como Palabra de Dios, ha de hacernos caer en la cuenta de que no hay otro modo legítimo de celebrar el señorío de Jesús más que evangelizando el mundo: el seguidor de Cristo intenta hacer cristiano su mundo y su corazón; mientras se esté ocupando en llevarlo al mundo, llevándolo en el corazón, los discípulos presentirán a su Señor a su lado y verán, para su sorpresa, que son capaces de repetir idénticos prodigios. Para representar al Señor que se echa en falta, bastará ponerse a predicarlo. Para no sentirse solo, confinado, en este mundo, habrá que recorrerlo hasta sus límite con el evangelio como único tema. El evangelio, si predicado, salva al cristiano de su soledad y le confiere poderes insospechables: no hay razón para quejarse por la supuesta lejanía de Dios, a no ser que se ha abandonado ya la tarea de proclamarlo Señor.

Questa finale del vangelo di Marco è un compendio con motivi di diversa provenienza. Il testo odierno insiste sulla responsabilità missionaria dei credenti: tale fu l'ordine ultimo, il testamento, di Gesù Risuscitato prima della sua ascensione. Ricordarlo oggi, come Parola di Dio, deve farci accorgere che non c'è un altro modo legittimo di celebrare la regalità di Gesù se non di evangelizzare il mondo: il seguace di Cristo cerca di cristianizzare il suo mondo ed il suo cuore; finché lo annunceranno al mondo, portandolo nel cuore, i discepoli sentiranno il Signore al loro fianco e vedranno, con loro sorpresa, che sono capaci di ripetere gli identici prodigi. Per rendere presente il Signore che è asceso, basterà predicarlo. Per non sentirsi soli, confinati, in questo mondo, bisognerà percorrerlo fino ai confini col vangelo come unico tema. Il vangelo, se predicato, salva il cristiano dalla sua solitudine e gli dona poteri impensati: non vi è ragione per lamentarsi dell’apparente lontananza di Dio, siamo noi che abbiamo già abbandonato il compito di proclamarlo Signore.

The conclusion of St Mark’s gospel is a compendium of extracts from different sources. The text we now have emphasizes the missionary responsibility of believers. This was the final command, the last testament, of the Risen Lord before his Ascension. Remembering it today as the Word of God, should make us realize that the only legitimate way to celebrate the kingship of Christ is by evangelizing the world. The followers of Christ seek to Christianize the world, beginning with their own hearts. For as long as they continue to carry him in their hearts and proclaim him to the world, the disciples will feel the Lord’s presence with them, and they will see, to their surprise, that they are capable of performing the same wonders that he did. The Lord has ascended to heaven, but to make him present on earth it is enough to proclaim him. If the disciples do not want to feel alone and abandoned in this world, all they have to do is go all through the world, to the ends of the earth, with the gospel as their only message. The gospel, if it is preached, will save Christians from feeling lonely and will confer on them unexpected powers. There is no reason to complain of the apparent absence of God. We are the ones who have abandoned our task of proclaiming the Lord.

Ce final de l'évangile de Marc est un résumé d’orientations d’origine diverse. Le paragraphe choisi insiste sur la responsabilité missionnaire des croyants : tel fut l'ultime ordre, le testament, de Jésus Ressuscité avant de sa disparition. S’en souvenir aujourd'hui, comme Parole de Dieu, doit nous permettre de nous rendre compte de qu’il n’y a d’autre manière authentique de célébrer la souveraineté de Jésus que celle d’évangéliser le monde. Le disciple du Christ tente de faire chrétien et son monde et son cœur. Pendant qu’il soit en train de s'occuper à offrir l’évangile au monde, un évangile qui jaillit du propre cœur, le disciple sentira son Seigneur à son côté et verra, à sa surprise, qu’il est capable de réaliser ses identiques prodiges. Pour représenter le Seigneur qui lui manque, il suffira de se vouer à l’annoncer. Pour ne pas se sentir seul, exilé, dans ce monde, on aura à le parcourir jusqu'à ses limites avec l'évangile comme le seul sujet. L'évangile, s’il est prêché, sauve le chrétien de sa solitude et lui confère des pouvoirs insoupçonnables. Il n'y a aucune raison pour se plaindre du supposé éloignement de Dieu, si ce n'est qu'on ait déjà abandonné la tâche d’annoncer le Seigneur.
